This in progress freestanding western red cedar arbor measures 18x12. |
| It is supported by five 6x6 columns and two 6x6 beams. Columns were cut so beams will support joists at a 1 in 12 inch pitch. Each 24" on center 2x8 joist set over the beams and a 2x12 box joist surrounds the perimeter. |

The 1x4 slats on top will be cut flush with the edge of the roof and a 1x4 roof edging will be installed. The bottom of each column will be wraped with a 1x4 band. |
